STOP IT!!!
STOP IT!!!
Don’t buy it, not on credit again. Don’t!!
Enough is enough, you have bought enough and enslaved yourself too much.
Who are you trying to impress? You oppress yourself. Enslaving yourself to your creditor
You avoid your creditors at work, church, social gatherings. You lose your freedom, your sleep and your heartbeat races on full throttle when you see them.
Why???
Never pick what you cant pay for
Just admire it and walk away and let your mind follow you
That fanciful bag is a match box if bought and worn on credit
That beautiful dress is a piece of rag if you buy and wear on credit
That gorgeous shoe is a mere flip flop if bought and worn on credit
That perfume smells like manure if you buy and wear on credit
The gold, diamonds all bought and worn on credit measure to up to nothing on you my dear.
Live your size per time
The guys are wiser, the stuff we buy on credit to impress them no longer gives them the kick. They see beyond all that now. The virtue you cant buy (on credit) does it for them. Character, respect, humility
PAY AND PICK should be your watchword and not PICK AND PAY LATER
That you cant afford it today doesn’t mean you cant afford it some day (soon)
‘’NO THANK YOU, NOT TODAY, MAYBE SOME OTHER TIME’’ is a virtue you must wear like a badge of honour.
Start today.
Free yourself!!!

Should they? Should they not?
What should really be the role of religious leaders now as we get set to vote?
Do they have any right to influence our decision?
Is it right for them to force their candidates on us?
Should those at the helm of affairs overtly or covertly tell us who to vote for and based on their religious convictions?
Is it right?
If a subtle announcement is made in your mosque or church, how will that influence you and will you vote in your pastor /imam's candidate?
As usual.... No insults please...

Imagine a Nigeria where…..
As part of our efforts to ensure that Nigerians are adequately sensitised, vote wisely and make their votes count, we at Larascopy have begun an issue-based awareness drive. Basically, we are saying that the days of “take a dime and vote for me” are over! Now, we want public office seekers to pay for our votes with intelligent jaw-dropping ideologies that will make our country better. We are tired of politicians riding on the wings of party ideologies to deceive us. The first in our series is this.. What type of Nigeria do you want? Just close your eyes and imagine a Nigeria where.

BUDDING BEHIND YOU...
I want to appeal to someone
It may be you
Or you
It may be someone else you know
A man
A father
Who has sired a child
And it’s now sour between him and the mother of his child
And both have to part ways
And you shrug and just walk away
Not just from the woman but from your seed
The seed from your loins
The seed you planted
And you waltz off saying “when the child grows up he/she will ask after his/her father”.
And you leave a tender plant
You don’t water
You don’t manure
You don’t prune or weed
You don’t watch it grow
Neither do you shield it
And when the plant grows
And its seed ripe
You want it’s branch to crawl and curl up to you
To where you are, very far away…
Nature abhors that!
A curling plant only curls up to the shrubs around it…and, there is a limit to how far it can stretch….
To stay so far away and expect a plant to curl up to you at maturity is the height of adult delusion.
To abandon a child for whatever reason and assume that he/she will ask after his/her dad when he/she grows up is the height of irresponsibility and that’s for want of better expression.
Before that child matures..
What defence didn’t she put up when you were after her heart?
Didn’t you break down all walls to get her?
Some women can be nasty, I know
But there is always a way around our attempt at being responsible, by all means.
Open an account in the name of the child and give his mum details.
Drop you ‘widower’s’ mite as often as you are blessed to do and let her know, meanwhile, keep records.
Your son will see them one day.
There is always a day of reckoning when books will be open and accounts will balance. ..
The one you planted sometime ago…
Your seed has germinated and is budding…
…go check it up!
It may be you
Or you
It may be someone else you know
A man

Before that child matures..
Who nurtures?…Who abandons all of these and expect doses of reward in the future?
Who feeds?
Who pays school fees?
Who pays hospital bills?
Who disciplines?
Who mentors?
Who prays for and prays with?
Wisen up man!If the mother shields you
Wisen up dad!
What defence didn’t she put up when you were after her heart?

You are too far away from your seed…
Do your bit, man
Do your bit, dad
Be relevant in the life of your child..
For,
You can have an ex girlfriend
An ex fiancée
An ex lover
An ex wife…
…but you can never have an ex-living- child!
Even a dead child is not ex!
Wake up!!!
The one you planted sometime ago…
Your seed has germinated and is budding…

Réveiller Nigeria!!!!!!
Same day o.
The French police, backed by its government has identified the killers of its citizens.
Their pictures are out. Names and addresses. Every detail about them. Massive manhunt that has made one of the suspects turn himself in: he felt too much heat…!
Now, it’s only a matter of time before justice is served and families of the dead can have a painful closure….
Nigeria, my beloved country….
When will you get there!!!
When will you be able to unravel simple petty everyday crimes?
Will you be able to achieve the feat of unraveling murders and hi-tech crimes? Feats that have come to be the hallmark of saner societies where government is committed to equal right and justice for all?
My country, some people have squandered monies meant for the security of citizens.
The Nigerian police is among the worst paid in the world, officers live in abject poverty squalor.
I am particularly appalled today, by the CCTV camera sham in Nigeria.
Billions of dollars were supposedly invested in what would have been a laudable project, a project that would have moved us an inch closer to, not necessarily a crime – free society, but a society where criminals are a bit careful and where those gadgets could record events and help identify faces of perpetrators of crimes.
Who was behind the CCTV camera sham?
Why hasn’t he or her brought to justice?
Well, even if cameras are not working,
Even if the view – finder of our leaders’ cameras are covered in draperies of lies and deceit,
The cameras of the masses, their hearts and conscience are as sharp as the most modern cameras.
Above all, the camera from on high, the one that cannot be blurred or covered, the one that is far above the reach of corruption and manipulation, is very much active… Very active as matter of fact!

Somebody help me!!!!!!!!!
Anti Lala please help me out. My heart is heavy as I write this and I’m at crossroads. I am confused and depressed as I write. I just need someone to talk to. I just discovered that my husband of three years plus Is HIV positive. I didn’t know before I married him. Since our marriage, we have been trying to have children but God has not blessed us yet. Last November, a letter came to the house and I don’t know why I opened it and it was a letter from one association of AIDS sufferers. I got interested because I thought that maybe he is helping them as a philanthropist. It was there I read that he is a member. There were details of treatment and so many things like that. It was then it occurred to me to check the medicine he takes everyday in the fridge which he says is to control blood pressure and sugar Level. Anti, I took the name and Googled and they say it is an ARV. I wanted to die! I asked him as soon as he came back from work o. I could not do that thing you preach preach that, wait till later when he has calmed down. He denied it at first then I produced the letter and he began to beg me that it’s true. I asked how long ago he has been with the disease he said long before he married me. Anti, I wanted to just die. I have been having sex with my husband not knowing he Is suffering from AIDS. I thank God that I have done two tests since November and I am negative. You don’t know how happy I am with God that this thing did not catch me. Aunty, since then, I have stopped sex because I feel betrayed and let down. He said we can be using condom and I can protect myself but how can we have children if we are using barriers Anti? How??? I am not even concerned about babies for now ma. My heart is bitter against my husband. What If he had infected me ma? What if I had got pregnant and the child caught the disease? I am afraid of exposing him even if I want to leave. What will I say made me leave? I don’t allow him touch me again and the house is tensed and we hardly talk to each another. This is not how I planned my life. I’m still young ma. I am sad. Is divorce wrong? Am I sinning against God if I leave him? I don’t trust him again. At all.
Please let your friends advise me.
